Physalis pruinosa
Vigorous physalis species with large, dark golden-yellow fruits for growing outdoors.
The plants require similar heat as peppers or aubergines and should be supported or tied up. This variety was selected for fruit size at the Research Institute for Horticulture Schönbrunn near Vienna. The fruits ripen rather late and have a fine, sweet-sour flavour.
